Eat Mobile is tomorrow!

We’re proud to be a part of the Willamette Week’s 2012 Eat Mobile festival tomorrow evening. Tickets, miraculously, are still available! You can get them here: http://wweek.com/portland/article-18995-eat-mobile-2012-tickets.html.

Since we’re taking the truck with us, we’ll be absent from our location at 50th and Division this weekend. If you’re not coming to the festival, you can get our ice cream at North Station (N. Killingsworth at Greeley) 12-8 Friday and Saturday.

We’re excited to show off our ice cream and sample some new carts! Come on by and say hi.

Hello, 2012 ice cream season!

Lots of changes are afoot for Scoop Handmade Ice Cream this year:

We now have two retail locations.

We’re doing double the number of farmers markets as last year.

We have this new pretty website, thanks to Bad Kitty Studios.

Our new ice cream trike is on order.

We’re developing new products (chocolate-dipped ice cream bars, single-serving containers, who knows what else!).

We are starting a monthly pint delivery service (we’ll have more info shortly) with exciting new flavors like White Wine-Poached Apricots with Roasted Hazelnuts.

In short, we’ve been very busy! Come see and taste for yourself soon at either our North Station location (now inside Pizza Depokos!) or at SE 50th and Division in the à la carts Food Pavilion. And feel free to poke around the site and let us know what you think.

Is this website live?

Where have we been? We set up this WordPress site, then quickly abandoned it, focusing instead on our Facebook page: www.facebook.com/scoopicecream. However, we are now recommitted to building out our site to make it as easy as possible to find out what you want to know about Scoop Handmade Ice Cream. Look here shortly for major changes to the look, functionality and content on this site. Thanks for your patience!
